20 x 18 ft, 6 ft drop steel tarp, and what to put in writing

Published market reference. 20 x 18 ft, 6 ft drop is a format published by US retailers, read on 2026-08-20. It is here as a reference point: the numbers below are what the market publishes, and the spec further down is what we would confirm in writing before a factory ever cuts one. We hold no stock; the listed retail prices are not our quotes.

A 6 ft drop against a 6 ft load and an 8 ft load The same 6 ft drop on two loads. On a 6 ft load the tarp reaches the deck and the load is covered. On an 8 ft load the tarp stops 2 ft above the deck and the bottom of the load stays uncovered. 6 ft load covered to the deck 6 ft 8 ft load same tarp, 2 ft left bare 6 ft 2 ft left bare
Both rows share one scale, so the bare band is exactly the 2 ft it says. A 6 ft drop covers a 6 ft load and no more: state your usual load height in writing before ordering, because the drop cannot be changed afterwards.
